Experience of Miguel Á. Sánchez-Urán González
Miguel A. Sánchez-Urán received the Laurea degree
in control engineering and electronics and the
Ph.D. degree (with honors) in electronics from the
Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid,
Spain, in 1992 and 1998, respectively.
From 1992 to 2001, he was with the Telefónica
Department for Research, UPM. Currently, he is the
Director of the Electrical Engineering Department,
UPM. His research interests include automatic control
and advanced telerobotics, haptics, and signal
processing. He is working on different projects and
developments in these areas. He has been the author of several papers on human
interfaces for teleoperation.
