Experience of Miguel Hernándo Gutierrez
Miguel Hernando (M’03) received the M.Sc. degree
in industrial engineering and the Ph.D. degree
in robotics and computer vision from the Universidad
Politecnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain, in ´
1997 and 2003, respectively.
He is currently an Associate Professor at the UPM,
where he also works with the Robotics and Cybernetics
Research Group and is the Head of the Department
of Electronics, Automatic Control, and Computer
Science. His main teaching and research activities
involve automatic control and robotics. He has
been involved in several national and European R&D projects related to the use
of robots in construction.
