Experience of Sofía Coloma Chacón

Sofia Coloma is PhD student in Automation and Robotics, M.Sc. Automation and Robotics at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and Industrial Electronics Engineer at Universidad de Las Islas Baleares. With good knowledge about programming, she has work experience as videogames programmer, robots and other devices. Nowadays, Sofia is involved in an important European project called DONES, which aims to study the behaviour of the materials required for the construction of a future fusion reactor, by contributing on the development of Remote Handling techniques, selection of Remote Handling work equipment and planning of Remote Handling tasks. She finally collaborates with the Remote Handling equipment of this initiative.
