Experience of Yarens Cruz
Yarens J. Cruz was born in Matanzas, Cuba, on January 24, 1991. He received the B.S.Eng. degree in automation engineering from the Instituto Superior Politécnico José Antonio Echeverría (ISPJAE), Havana, Cuba, in 2015, and the Master's degree in computer-aided engineering from the University of Matanzas, Matanzas, Cuba, in 2019. Between 2015 and 2017 he worked as an automation technical advisor at EMSIL, Matanzas, Cuba. Between 2017 and 2021 he worked as a researcher at the Centro de Estudios de Fabricación Avanzada y Sostenible (CEFAS), Matanzas, Cuba. Since 2022, he is a predoctoral fellow at the Centre for Automation and Robotics (CSIC-Universidad Politécnica de Madrid), Spanish National Research Council, Madrid, Spain. His current research interests include machine learning, computer vision, robotics, industrial cyber-physical systems, internet of things and industry 4.0. He has authored or coauthored several journal and conference papers.
