Esta predicci\u00f3n est\u00e1 a punto de convertirse en realidad, y los \u00faltimos acontecimientos ya est\u00e1n mostrando el impacto disruptivo del la rob\u00f3tica y de la inteligencia artificial en nuestra sociedad y en nuestra vida cotidiana. Ya estamos presenciando c\u00f3mo los robots est\u00e1n entrando en contacto m\u00e1s estrecho con los humanos fuera de las f\u00e1bricas. Paralelamente, la IA ha demostrado alcanzar niveles sin precedentes de interacci\u00f3n natural entre humanos y m\u00e1quinas. Se prev\u00e9 que los robots impulsados \u200b\u200bpor IA desencadenen una verdadera revoluci\u00f3n, permitiendo que los robots convivan con los humanos en peque\u00f1os talleres, pymes, as\u00ed como en entornos dom\u00e9sticos, como compa\u00f1eros de trabajo y asistentes dom\u00e9sticos.<\/p>\n

\nEn el Centro de Rob\u00f3tica y Automatica estamos abordando estas cuestiones. En CAR ya conviven robots, IA y humanos. Estamos trabajando en casas inteligentes energ\u00e9ticamente eficientes, autom\u00f3viles con conducci\u00f3n aut\u00f3noma, drones inteligentes, sistemas de localizaci\u00f3n en interiores, sistemas biom\u00e9dicos, asistentes personales y robots sociales, plantas de fabricaci\u00f3n impulsadas por IoT y muchos otros temas. FUSE, Instalaci\u00f3n Experimental Unificada y Compartida en su sigla en Ing\u00e9s, es una peque\u00f1a aldea del futuro. Incluye casas experimentales, bloques de oficinas, una amplia red de carreteras para coches aut\u00f3nomos, campos de cultivo e invernaderos, un campo de vuelo de drones e incluso una v\u00eda para un tren monorra\u00edl experimental. Est\u00e1 ubicado en las instalaciones del CAR del CSIC de Arganda del Rey e incluye el CAR Robotics Arena de la UPM y otros laboratorios del CAR.<\/p>\n

El proyecto cient\u00edfico Robots, AI and Us<\/em> de CAR utiliza una metodolog\u00eda de \u201cun d\u00eda en la vida de\u201d para abordar cuestiones cient\u00edficas y tecnol\u00f3gicas
