Our Vision is to provide Unmanned Systems (U.S.) with autonomy by exploiting the most powerful sensor. i.e. vision.
Our Mission is to be always at the front end of the technology in Image Processing and Control techniques in order to achive technology transfer into demanding U.A.S. civil applications. Our Values are:

Research areas:
- Objet tracking from UAV, using whether visual features or full templates.
- Image stabilization and mosaicking, that allows to have a large stabilized picture of all the area seen from the UAV.
- On-board pose estimation, using different technologies accordingly to the application, such homography from motion, 3D beacon tracking, stereo vision or omnidirectional vision.
- Visual control, both in the image plane and in the 3D space. The visual information is fused with odometric and GPS information by an EKF that considers the UAV dynamics.
