ROBOTS AND INTELLIGENT MACHINES

The group of Robots and Intelligent Machines is an interdisciplinary research unit which focus its line of research on Intelligent Robotics at the Centre for Automation and Robotics. Group was born in 2004 and its activities were only linked to Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) at Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales. The main goals of the group are:

• Research on core technologies and new methods applied to Robotics.
• Transfer the technology and techniques developed to the industry to provide solutions to real social problematic and to attend the user needs which may take advantage of robotic systems.
